Outdoor Prairie Wedding | Princeton Minnesota
Over the last 9 years of photographing weddings I have witnessed an evolution of the way couples are expressing themselves. Honoring each-other by acknowledging our parents, ancestors, this planet and all the life it provides to us, the water, friends, family… all that makes life beautiful while keeping in mind future generations as this couple did with a tree planting as part of their ceremony.
Sharing their vows in front of an altar with fire at the center, adorned with a mandala of beautiful flowers. Intentionally using symbolism as a form of prayer. It was a true honor to photograph Nick & Jen Jorgenson’s wedding in the gorgeous prairie land of Princeton, Minnesota. Nick is quite the builder as be built this home for his parents as well as the tiny home they live in. Jen, a lover of life & wellness is a holistic nurse, qoya leader, womb healer… and the list goes on and on. This conscientious couple is quite the pair, devoted to love and love they shall receive.
A true community wedding with gracious friends & family helping out from preparing flowers, stylizing land, tending fire, cooking food, creating desserts, donating china, etc. The joy and abundance of love is quite clear in this wedding. Dusted with a light sprinkle during ceremony and we ended the evening with an epic dance party. T’was a blessed day indeed and cheers to many more to come… love you Jen & Nick… thank you for sharing your love in a most beautiful & sincere way.
