Straight to the heart for me with this plant ally. Sweet, warming, pungent and slightly bitter.  Tulsi is considered to be an adaptogenic aromatic stimulant nourishing the body on multiple levels. It is in the mint family with square stem and opposite leaves.  Tulsi is highly regarded as a sacred plant in India and Ayruvedic medicine as it restores the body & spirit.
